The aim is to create the awareness among the farmers regarding the zoonotic diseases which is being pursued through awareness camps and trainings under various projects and in collaboration with KVKs. The awareness camps for the farmers are being organized in remote areas like Distt. Rajouri and Poonch. Since Zoonotic diseases have economic and public health significance and many diseases are present in the area, so knowledge of these diseases among the farmers will further aid in control and prevention of these diseases which will help to improve the health of humans and livestock. The relevant literature has been prepared to further enhance the knowledge of the farmers.
