The Estates Division is catering to the infrastructure needs of the University directly under the administrative control of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. A Standing Committee known as Works Committee is in place for identifying the works to be executed, prioritizing the works and mode of execution. The Estates Division has been assigned the job/duties of creating infrastructure by way of construction of new roads, buildings and also the maintenance of the existing infrastructure at its Main Campus, Chatha, FVSc& AH Campus, R.S. Pura and all other constituent Units (KVKs’ and Research Stations) in all the districts of Jammu Province. Besides infrastructure creation & maintenance, the Estates Division is the custodian of the University assets such as land, buildings & roads. The infrastructure includes Faculty buildings, Library buildings, Administrative building, University Auditorium, residential quarters for staff, hostels for students,Veterinary Referral Hospital-cum-Clinical Complex, Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP),Solid waste management units at Chatha and R.S. Pura.
