Achievement during the year 2022-23
- BSMA Committee recommendations adopted and implemented in the University.
- Three new faculties i.e. Faculty of Horticulture & Forestry, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, and Faculty of Dairy Technology started along with admission at undergraduate level.
- Conducted entrance examinations (CET-2022) for admission to Undergraduate, Masters’ and Ph.D. Programmes.
- Ph.D. Programmes in Floriculture and Landscaping, Agribusiness Management, and Microbiology instituted.
- Master’s Degree Programmes in Fisheries, Seed Science & Technology, and Organic Farming started.
- Implementation of Assistantship for Ph.D. scholars in the University.
- Theses evaluation and conduct of Viva Voce of 82 M.Sc. and 26 Ph.D. students of Faculty of Agriculture.
- Theses evaluation and conduct of Viva Voce of 14 M.Sc. and 08 Ph.D. students of Faculty of Basic Science.
- Theses evaluation and conduct of Viva Voce of 42 M.V.Sc. and 06 Ph.D. students of Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & A.H.
- Oral Comprehensive Exams of 51 Ph.D. students of the University conducted.
- Organized a four-day workshop in collaboration with Heartfulness Education Trust (HET) at SKUAST-Jammu w.e.f. 7th-9th & 12th December 2022.
- Fellowships under different schemes of Ministry of Tribal Affairs, CSIR-UGC-NET, UGC-NET, University Merit/NTS Scholarships, Centrally Sponsored Schemes of Post-Matric and Minority Scholarships (through Social Welfare Department, J&K Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking people and NSP) managed and disbursed for 165 students of the University.
