Faculty of Agriculture Engineering came into existence on 01/08/2022 by craving out Division of Agricultural Engineering from Faculty of Agriculture vide U. O. No. 158(Secy.) of 2022 dated 01.08.2022. The faculty has four divisions Farm Mechinery and Power Engineering, Soil and Water Engineering, Processing and Food Engineering and Basic Engineering & Sciences imparting teaching, research and extension activities with intake capacity of 35 students. The faculty has four divisions i.e. Division of Farm Machinery & Power Engineering, Division of Soil and Water Engineering, Division of Processing and Food Engineering and Division of Basic Engineering & Sciences. The faculty is offering UG programmes in Agricultural Engineering. While the 02 divisions are offering M.Tech Programmes and Farm Machinery & Power Engineering is offering Ph.D programme. The faculty has taken in the lead various entrepreneur areas such as, Farm Mechanization, Soils & Water Conservation. The faculty is also imparting various trainings to the farmers and filed functionaries in collaboration with Directorate of Extension. Moreover faculty is pioneer in establishing the research extension linkage through its village visit program.
