Teaching :

To impart quality and need based education to students for developing and strengthening human resource in Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Extension Education.

Research :

Research on priority areas such as adoption & diffusion of improved animal husbandry practices & dissemination of scientific information to livestock farmer, Organic Livestock Farming, Indigenous Technical Knowledge, Livestock Entrepreneurship, Livestock extension delivery system, Design and development of Web Module, Women empowerment through livestock rearing, Animal Welfare; SWOT, STEEP, Constraint analysis and Role of ICT in livestock development.

Extension :

Livestock development through Extension activities such as Trainings on scope, standards and practices of organic livestock farming, Trainings on Govt. schemes and outreach programmes, Training of Pashu Sakhi, Usage of web modules and mobile Apps, Trainings on Clean Milk Production, Zoonotic disease, calf management  Training of rural women on value addition of milk and meat products, As a resource person for Model Training Courses, SAMETI, etc.
