Teaching :
To provide Veterinary graduates with a thorough understanding of gross anatomy, developmental anatomy and microscopic anatomy of principal domesticated animals and birds.
Research :
To utilize the anatomical knowledge and its application in high-Quality Research to explore the adaptational anatomical facts/biomechanism of local/indigenous breeds and wild fauna of UT of J&K.
Extension :
1. Participations in Kissan Mela organized by the University.
2. Demonstration of charts/ models/ specimens during the
Kissan Mela organized by the University.
3. Expert lectures to the field Veterinarian and farmers
4. Village Visits under Mera Gaon Mera Gourav.

- (A) Anatomical Profiling of Bakerwali Goat, Indigenous Breeds, wild species of UT of J&K.
- (A-1) Gross morphology and biometry of different organs of Bakerwali Goat , Indigenous Breeds, wild species of UT of J&K.
- (A-2) Histomorphology, micrometry and histochemistry of different organs of Bakerwali Goat, Indigenous Breeds, wild species of UT of J&K.
- (A-3) Organogenesis of different organs of small ruminants.
