Prof. Sanjay Guleria is a Senior Professor of Biochemistry and Coordinator, International Help Desk at Sher-e-Kashmir University of AgriculturalSciences and Technology of Jammu. He has more than 22 years of experience in teaching and research. He is a recipient of the prestigious Cutting-Edge Research Enhancement and Scientific Training (CREST) Award of the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India for visiting research Scientist Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, USA. As a faculty In-charge of the Counselling, and Placement Cell of the university he is focused on developing the skills of the students so as to make them employable. He has research collaborations with Scientists at Scotland Rural University College, Scotland, UK for nano-materials as well as valorization of agricultural waste material and published papers in National and International Journals of repute and filed patents. As Nodal Officer, of the Institute Industry Interaction Cell created under NAHEP-IDP of ICAR, he is instrumental in organizing industrial exposure visits of the students, industry meets, and curriculum development in line with industry requirements.
