Hon'ble Vice Chancellor SKUAST J Prof J. P Sharma along with Fisheries faculty members Dr Sahar Masud and Dr Akhil Gupta stocked fish seed in the fish ponds of IFU and pond near Extension Education Division SKUAST J main campus Chatha. Fish species of Indian Major carps such as Catla Rohu and Mrigal were stocked in mixed ratio at the rate of 10000 no per hectare
